Pipeline Technologies & Services LLC (PipeTech) is a Saudi-nationalsolution provider and manufacturer of pipeline leak detection systems. Established in 2009, PipeTech is the first high technology Saudi company of its kind in the Gulf region. PipeTech provides innovative fit-to-purpose pipeline leak detection solutions for various pipeline applications including liquid, gas, terrestrial, underground, and sub-sea deployments, through its brand name the WAVEGuard® LDS system. The WAVEGuard®system is a negative-pressure wave (acoustic) leak detection system. This system is based on the principle of sensing pressure wave variations that travel at the speed of sound in the fluid.

To complement its advanced R&D activities, PipeTech designed and built state-of-the-art closed-loop pipeline leak detection facility, the largest pipeline closed-loop leak detection & testing facility in the world, in the city of Al-Khobar. PipeTech offers site assessment, theoretical and actual performance metrics, design, manufacturing, assembly, FAT testing, installation supervision, SAT testing, commissioning, and after-sales services.

PipeTech is a member of the DhahranTechno-Valley (DTV)community at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), and working on state-of-the-art leak detection methods &technologies.

PipeTech maintains its corporate office in Al-Khobar including Engineering (R&D and Manufacturing), Marketing, and Sales department, and its closed-loop testing facility in the city of Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. PipeTech has earned Saudi Aramco’s approval (9COM) for the production of its WAVEGuard® LDS.
